Dr. Armin Hermann

Armin began studying arts at Düsseldorf Art College, but left to pursue dentistry. He worked as a dentist until 2009.
He never completely gave up painting, however, and since 2010 has taken it up full-time.
His main motifs are landscapes and abstracts painting.
Armin’s style is characterized by showing the emotional side of motifs rather realistically, but at the same time applying abstract elements as to colour and form. Often realistic motifs are transformed during the actual painting, a technique he calls “deconstruction”.
